A Place Further Than The Bottle Rocket Can Fly.

We really had our hopes up for this one, but as both Tim and I were to find out, the best thing about Stardust Telepath were its first few episodes. Beyond that, competitions await and some quite frankly baffling decisions, both by character and by show. I wanted to like this show, I really did. And so did Tim.

I'm happy to report that next week will be no better. Wait... no! No, I'm not. The things I do for hints. Well, see you next week.

Space Is Still So Far Away...

Well, we didn't get anything prepared for this week, so... take a break and let's meet again next week. (It's nearly done.)

Akuma-kun Could If He Would.

Allen finds a bit of a curiosity in Akuma-kun, the ONA sequel of an original Akuma-kun TV series, which he finds quite entertaining despite the typical tropes it can't seem to escape entirely.

Well, at least we got a fun one for this week despite the lack of space. But maybe next week. See you then.

The Boy That Reached Retirement Age.

So yeah, Allen's pick this week is the original Astro Boy TV series from 1963. That's... that's 61 years ago, so not quite retirement age (at least where I'm from), but close enough. Honestly, the 1980 series shoulda been named Astro Man.

And that's that. Next week, we might go to space, but probably not. See you all there, wherever that is.

No jinxes, but...

Looks like we'll be taking a break this week. So maybe that was the jinx? Regardless, see you all in a week.

A Dancer in the Bark.

OK, so when I said "maybe not" next week, I didn't quite expect the hosting space to expire. Well, it's been taken care of, so....

Anyway, Allen watched The Boy and the Beast, and comes out of that pretty satisfied. Not that I've seen this one personally, but I have seen Wolf Children and Summer Wars, so I can guess what Allen means when he hints about this one going weird places. (Too.)

So that's... uh, our slightly unintentionally delayed review of the week. See you again next week, hopefully with no issues. (Though maybe I shouldn't jinx us?)
