Invasion of the 60 foot Catholic School Girls!

Well, ok, maybe not entirely. What we have is basically the fourth season of Maria Watches Over Us, which Rightstuf recently licensed. It's certainly something that will be worth waiting for. But don't just take my word for it. Read the review, and THEN take my word for it.

Alright, joke's over....

As I'm sure most of you figured out, the review I posted on the 1st of April was complete nonsense and in no way a real review. However, since I don't want to cheat our readers of a review proper, here's the REAL review of ToraDora. Yep, this is my honest opinion this time around, and I promise to come up with something better for next year's April Fool's.

In the mean time, I'd like to make a proposition to our readers. Seeing as there's so few new interesting shows these days -- coupled with the fact that Norway just doesn't have a huge market for anime outside of imports -- I'd like to ask for some reader participation. Not in writing reviews, but choosing shows for me to start off my second opinion session in an attempt to continue providing this site with written material on a somewhat regular basis. What I need you to do is basically to visit my DVDaficionado page, which contains pretty much almost my entire DVD collection, and pick which anime shows you would like to see reviews written for, and then E-mail me the requests -- if you have any. Then I'll pretty much rewatch the show and provide a writeup on what I feel about the show and how it stacks up today, compared to the more recent titles available.

I'm not saying I won't pay attention to newer shows at all, but I'm just trying to avoid having to depend on digital sources for material all the time. Adding to that problem is basically that most of the streaming material isn't available in my region, which is a nice way of saying "you ain't American, buddy!" Or something like that. (Note that I'm not blaming the licensing companies or the sites streaming the stuff for this; they might be required by law to only make these shows available only to the US audience.)

Anyway, that's my real ToraDora review and my little request. Brad and Tim are still working on their own stuff, to which I'm very grateful, so either way, you will probably be seeing something new fairly soon, maybe even from me. (Just one more episode of MariMite season 4, for instance, then I'll get that review done in time for pacing like a hungry wolf waiting for the preorder from Rightstuf.)

Laters.

Back for more punishment!

So yeah, on this blessed day, I got a new review for you. It's from a very well known show called ToraDora, and it will sneak into your bedroom at night and whack you with a kendostick!

And by the way; APRIL FOOL'S! ^_^
