Dumbastic Girlfriend (and Boyfriend)

Because let's be fair here; Allen's pick of the week, the oddly named Domestic Girlfriend -- which is a bit of a misnomer as far as the show go, unless you think "people making awful decisions for the sake of a relationship" is domestic enough to count -- doesn't seem to think highly of either women or men in this particular franchise. At least as far as the main leads go, I guess, so maybe the rest are OK. We're all safe. Somehow.

Next week, we'll have something almost infinitely less trashy for you. It's gonna be quite enjoyable, in fact, unless you really hate cats for some reason. See you all then.

You Lease Your Life!

Allen's pick of the week is a little... strange. He reviews Zombie Loan, a show that seems to think dead people need more banking business in their lives, a place where even your life -- or maybe death -- is something to be put on the table when all the checks are about to be cashed in. Or something like that. I'm just saying it sounds like a really strange show for good and bad.

And if you think that sounds like a bad idea in the making, next week will be even less fun. See you then.

Kanonical Friends Deux.

I am reviewing Kemono Friends 2, which was an awkward undertaking in so many ways. I'm not sure what else to say other than what's in the review, so... go read it.

Next week, the already deceased are upon us, so please survive until then. See you all later.

Calling it Quits On The Quintessentials. How Quaint.

Yep, Allen muscles his way through the entirety of The Quintessential Quintuplets and has few nice things to say about it, most of which can be summed up with the word "Miku". I don't blame him; I gave that show up after the first episode, because I didn't really want to see Love Hina again, even if it's wearing a different skin suit this time around.

And once again, I wish I could say that things get better next week, but... well, let's just say we're going to delve into a show that was probably doomed from the start, given certain events preceeding its production.

See you all then.
