Countdown to Delight

Synopsis

Motoki, a typical "college student" (actually, Kitty Media is lying, he's a *junior high* student) is trying to study, but can't focus because his sister is having Loud Lesbian Sex with her girlfriend. Motoki thinks life couldn't possibly get worse ... and then he becomes the barely teenage sex toy for the rest of the cast. Sucks to be you, Motoki.

Review

Shoutacon: the objectification, fetishism, and sexualization of young preteen to teenage boys, as a rough equivalent to Lolicon.

This is the complex you must have in order to enjoy Countdown to Delight, a hentai anime in which a cutesy young boy-toy in a Hamtaro shirt gets waylaid (and laid) by a bunch of often-sadistic females, none of whom would ever pass for being older than fifteen.

In a word: YUCK!!!

But first, the technical stuff. The very first failing in this anime is the voice-acting. It stinks. I've heard better acting in drama auditions at the local junior colleges, and this isn't the English dub I'm complaining about. From Motoki's opening lines, it's obvious that they're running the voice actor through the script on a dry run. It may even be for a first take sort of affair, because I certainly wouldn't want to voice-act such awful dialogue more than once either!

The writing is also bad, and while this show makes some half-hearted attempts at parody (the "S&M Sunday" magazine and the girls dressing up as a sentai team are two such examples), it's all just really about the kinky sex, from bisexual Eika using her "toys" on the barely pubescent Motoki, to his erstwhile "dream sister" tutor Natsuki and her secret S&M dungeon. ("I love you, Motoki!" *WHIP-CRACK!*) Moreover, the "gay" character, Yuji, is totally useless and really annoying - fans of yaoi won't have anything to look forward to here. Nope, it's all about underage girls and their even more underage boy-toy. Goood night.

If you're into S&M with super-young characters who couldn't pass for high school, much less "19 and over", then I guess this sort of show might be right up your alley, but as for me, I'll be much happier once I've grown old, gotten senile, and forgotten that this show ever existed.

Until then, I think I'd rather go watch some real grownup porn with actual grownups in it.

To quote the role-playing game HoL: There's dinky in here!Carlos/Giancarla Ross

Recommended Audience: Explicit sex, sadomasochism, lesbian scenes, gay innuendo, and all with a main character whose balls have barely dropped. This title is only for weirdoes.
