Born in the ancient city of art, culture and science; Glasgow, Scotland; his first anime experiences were to be found in watching Saturday morning runs of Pokemon and Digimon without much of a thought towards their origins (he still thought it was all called manga at this point).

Soon, as his teenage years arrived and his scope for entertainment widened, he was introduced to a copy of Ghost in the Shell which helped him to realise that a film didn't need to be entertaining or coherent to be good (something that would serve him well in later life). Eva, Martian Successor Nadesico, Oh my Goddess! and You're Under Arrest soon followed and he thought that there just might be something to this anime stuff.

Around this time he purchased a series called RahXephon and another show called Excel Saga for what seems (on reflection) no good reason other than on the advice of a peculiarly blue website called THEM Anime Reviews and from then on has carefully cultivated a sizeable library of quality media that he is very proud of, with great thanks to that aforementioned site. Later on he would join the site's forum and proceed to fill it with his nonsense for years on end but that is a story for another time...

Though his life now belongs to THEM, Aiden still manages to spend his time writing scripts for his friends' student films and landscaping other people's gardens for them. He would do his own but prefers not to have to live with the results.

He's currently looking to study English at any good University that will take him.
