"The Midnight Hour is close at hand...."

Hello, everyone, and a happy Halloween. I'm running this update a day earlier due to said holiday, and I've even got an in-theme anime to show for it, one that's fairly safe for children to watch. The show in question is Gregory Horror Show, a rather interesting show, if not necessarily great. (I actually picked it up because I watched a sadly unfinished Let's Play of the PS2 game. Funny how some influences work sometimes.)

Once all this Halloween hubbub is over, Tim'll have something for you all. See you later. Also, have fun going Trick or Treating, kids.

"Rolling..rolling..rolling down the river.."

Today's review is of Arakawa Under the Bridge, my second Shaft review of the season. And it's quite a weird one, at that.

Next week Stig celebrates Halloween for a special Sunday review. See you then!

The story of the sea is mostly told on land.

At least in the show featured in my latest review: Umi Monogatari, a show that probably had its birth the moment someone thought "You know, I have noticed that there's a criminal shortage on anime based on Pachinko games!" And it's a show whose review I've been meaning to write for the longest time, but never actually got around to it. Which is a shame, really.

Next week, Tim's got something for you guys again. See you all soon.

"I wish for an awesome anime."

And thus my wish was granted.

Possibly the happiest review I've ever written, Kobato. is...well, really, really good. If you want to see me rave about it, click above.

Next week Stig takes back the reviewing wheel. See you then.

"Please don't cry. There are no tears in heaven."

And despite its title, there's preciously little tiaras to be found in Tears to Tiara either. However, unlike last week's utter bomb, this show is actually pretty decent if you want your fantasy bone tickled.

Next week, Tim's got something for you all, so stay tuned.

Edit: Good lord, the sidebar updater is being really uncooperative these days.
