Long Live the Short Lived.

Today's show belongs squarely in the comedy genre, as Allen watches The Vampire Dies in No Time, and learns that this is no false advertising. He finds the show reasonably fun, despite the whole conundrum that if you die, but don't really die, do you really die, then?

Next week, Allen will look into the second part of the second part. Because he was born with the second sight, or something like that. Or maybe I picked that up somewhere else. Anyway, I guess we'll find out in a week.

No, Jane. You ARE the Shadows.

Well, Allen's got a sinister one for us this week. He takes a look at not one, but two seasons of Shadows House and he, quite frankly, loves it. Even better, it didn't completely bomb out for its second season like a certain other show mentioned in the review.

And that's our lot. Next week, things are going to get considerably goofier and deadlier. See you then.

The Picnic is a Lie.

Ohoho yes, eat that old meme. Because Allen's pick of the week is a rather odd one. As he tells it, there are no picnics in Otherside Picnic, at least not in the traditional sense. Allen does make a pun out of it, but by and large, the show is quite entertaining. Which is good.

And that's that. Next week, we might be looking at something even weirder than "Picnic with Guns and no actual picnic". However that works.

Initial Floating.

So yeah, Allen's pick of the week, Drifting Home has to do with a bunch of kids trying to figure out their emotions while being stuck on a floating building in the middle of the sea. While I'm sure there's some kind of deep meaning about this -- as deep as the sea they're all floating around on -- that's still just all kinds of "what?!"

So yeah, that's certainly something. Let's hope next week will make a bit more sense. See you all then.
