"Is life always this hard, or is it just when you're a kid?"
Always, kids. Always.
Today, I'm going to bring you the review for the sequel of a rather disturbing show. In the hands of Artland, Gunslinger Girl ~Il Teatrino~ takes a turn for the worse. Just how much, though, is all up to each and every one of you.
And that's about it. Next week, Brad has a little something that might make your head explode. Keep on reading.

And Then the Zombies Said, "Kill Television! Kill! Television!"
Welcome to those of you who are checking out the site because of my little chat on ANNCast. Feel free to browse our review database and join our forums, where you can try your hand at reviewing and chat with our cool little crew of otaku. We update every Monday morning with new reviews from our small gang of reviewers. Some updates to look forward to in the coming weeks, besides the Best of the Decade list I pimped on the podcast, include reviews of Kurozuka, the second season of Gunslinger Girl, Taisho Baseball Girls, Gurren Lagaan and a mind numbing total of eleven reviews just in the month of December!
Stay awhile. We like people here.

"Sola"; Norwegian for "The Sun".
Just thought I'd share, even if the sun itself isn't the topic of the show itself, but rather the sky (to some degree.) That said, the sun is still the main problem for one of our main characters. And by "problem", I mean "lethal problem" as the person in question, the not-really-a-vampire Matsuri Shihou can die if exposed to it for longer periods of time.
Anyway, the name of the show is Sola, a little low-key show from the creator of Kanon.
Next up, I return yet again with another review from a show I picked up on DVD a month or two back. Stay tuned. And don't forget to take a peek at the answers to the questions you asked us in the update right below. (I guess we could have synchronized THAT better.)

The boy who cried wolf.
Well... man, actually. Because this update is dedicated to the second season of a show I like rather much, and one that actually got licensed at that. (Well, not said second season.... yet, at least.) The show -- and season -- in question is Spice and Wolf season 2. It picks up where the first season left off, and it easily manages to live up to the first season too.
Next up, the review for another show that had a fairly recent DVD release. Stay tuned, and, as always, all hail the tail.

"You keep out of this. She doesn't have to shoot you now!"
The long-delayed CANAAN review is finally here. It's also, believe it or not, the first series I've watched based on something from Type-Moon. See for yourself on this link what I thought of it.
That's it from me for a while. Stay tuned next week when I turn it over to Stig. See you later!
Also, don't forget - there's still one week left to send the THEM Anime staff questions for our upcoming editorial. So if you're curious about asking questions, send them away via e-mail or the forum itself.

Double your Nanoha
Yep, it's another week of more than one review! This time we have two reviews from me:
The first is a review of Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha StrikerS. It's gotten a bad rap from Nanoha fans, and...we agree. Click here to see why we agree with them.
I also have a second opinion on Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha A's. Click here for great justice...and to read the review.
Next week is my CANAAN review. See you then!
