A Christmas Update.

'Twas the night before Christmas, and all through the house..... the newly appointed editor was preparing some reviews for the end of the season.

Leading off with a solid round of applause is Jake, his appreciation directed towards Card Captor Sakura, an old classic already well known to several THEMers. All these years, and it still earns top marks through his second opinion.

On a lesser note of excellence, but still anywhere between decent to good, I have three more titles for you. New titles at that.

Kashimashi ~girl meets girl~ is a story about a boy turned girl -- nothing new there -- that still earns its mark of goodness by actually forsaking cliche'd comedy (for the most part) for some honest exploration through the teen mind.

World of Narue is another show that might look a bit run-of-the-mill at first glance, but manages to win through by giving yet another honest insight to the lives and tribulations of two people in a relationship... when one is an alien.

And lastly, fantasy title Utawarerumono rounds off the update in a great way, showing off how to do a videogame based anime properly.

And with that, I bid you all a very merry Christmas and a happy new year.

- Stig Høgset.
