Fate, huh?
I don't know whether it was fate that granted this title a relicense by FUNimation, but I wish fate could have arrived a little sooner, saving me from having to overpay somewhat for volume 5. Confound it all.
Anyway, I'm here to present the next entry on my special request line; the full review for Fate/Stay Night. There's nothing more that needs to be said, I guess, except that they didn't screw up the ending, so that's one load off my back.
Next up, unless Brad or Tim interjects with something else, is the review for the third Inuyasha movie, which should be up in a week or so. Stay with us.

More reviews, more power.
And with that line parodying the awful Medabots series, I provide you with three new reviews this week.
The first two are by yours truly; Kannagi and Rocket Girls.
The third review is brought to us by Diane Tiu, who reviewed The Sky Crawlers, which was directed by the infamous Mamoru Oshii. Does it hold up as well as Ghost in the Shell? Read her review here to find out.
That's it for now. Stay tuned for more reviews soon.

"All you need is love a prod...."
I'm glad to see that the amount of requests have improved since the last update, what with several people having mailed in and asking for reviews. As of this moment, I've received requests for the following:
Fate/Stay Night (full review)
Inuyasha movies 3 and 4
Ghibli ga Ippai Special Short Short (A collection of short works by Studio Ghibli.)
Fruits Basket
Outlaw Star
Princess Tutu
Nausicaa
Porco Rosso
My Neighbor Totoro
Tales of the Earthsea (Gedo Senki)
The Humanoid
Ninja Scroll TV
Record of Lodoss War
Crest of the Stars
...which will be written in that order (since I'm running a first come, first served order on this special request offer.) I'd like to remind you that this offer does not expire, so if anyone else out there has something they'd like reviewed, please allow me once again to direct you to the anime section of my DVDaficionado page, where you are free to request whatever you'd like to see a new review or a second opinion of.
But for now, I promised someone a full rewrite of Gankutsuou: the Count of Monte Cristo, and that's exactly what the person making the request; a certain Mr. Robert Stalker, is going to get.
Next up; the full review of Fate/Stay Night, which will have some updated opinions on some of the later parts, for good and bad. Stay tuned.

The first review in the disappointingly short list of requests.
Ok, so when I made the offer to review something from my own collection, I didn't really expect all our readers to trip over themselves to get in line for this, but I did at least expect a few token curious requests. As of this point, I've had two. One of them even from one of our own staff members, namely this very review for my own gateway anime; 3x3 Eyes.
Next up, not counting any newer titles that may come inbetween, I'll have me a second look at the Gankutsuou review, upgrading it to full now that I have (and have watched) the whole show. This also marks the second and last of my DVD aficionado-based requests so far, so... please go ahead and request something. Surely there has to be some older anime titles you might be interested in finding out about?
