Oh My God...dess, This Is So Not On The Level.

So yeah, Allen reviews The Angel Next Door Spoils Me Rotten, which is not about an actual angel, but that's the least of this show's problems according to him. It's simply a failure to be anything but a romance for the chronically lazy.

Next week will have a bit of the same problems, except in different ways. See you all then.

"What We've Got Here Is A Failure To Feminist...."

Allen's pick of the week is Kaina of the Great Snow Sea, a series he finds honestly kind of disappointing. Aside from feeling almost stereotypically preachy, there is a point that just feels like the drop that made the glass overflow, even though snow should technically be able to pile up. At any rate, Allen does not recommend this.

And that's that. Next week will be a bit of a two steps forward and one step back. I know that's not how the expression really goes, but it is apparently a better show except for one thing. So yeah, next week.

Uncle Does What Sega Don't.

Well, I said we were gonna cry uncle, but if Allen's review of Uncle from Another World is anything to go by, we needn't have worried, as it's quite fun.

And that's that. Next time, we'll be taking a dip in the solids. Maybe. See you all then.

SuzuME, not SuzuKA.

That's what I had to continuously tell myself as I put Allen's pick of the week, Suzume, up on the site. It's another Makoto Shinkai masterpiece as far as he's concerned, so I'm just going to have to fire my brain for trying to conflate this movie and the completely different show, and then flatline at the five star rating.

Hopefully, my brain will stop being weird next week, or I'll have to cry uncle. See you then.

Revenger, Son of Revenge.

And father to Revengest, I guess. Anyway, Julian returns with a review for Revenger, a show she finds a bit middle of the bloody road, so to speak, and not just because of its creative use of English for a title.

Also, my apologies for the delayed update. Yesterday was a bit of a holiday for us, so I guess I was still mentally on a Sunday.

At least we will be.. uh, vindicated next week with something considerably better than the Revenger. See you all then.
