Wait, not for the children? Apparently not, because Black Butler: Book of Circus does not treat its children kindly. Allen does not look too kindly upon this, even if it is depressingly era-appropriate (as he points out.) By and large, he found the series well enough worth the time.

Allen takes a look at Taisho Otome Fairy Tale and finds it rather lacking. As in the core ingredients are all there, but it would appear the were just all tossed in the pot at the same time and not cooked long enough. Not sure why I went with the food allegory here, but there we go.

This week, Nicoletta and I take a look at the Laid-Back Camp movie, and was more than a bit relieved to find out that our main team of girls reaching adulthood doesn't really take anything away from it. Of course, season 3 returns to their highschool years, but it was still nice to see this nod towards their futures.

Allen went to the theater for this week's review. He watched Spy x Family: Code White and finds it just as appealing as the TV series. I just watched the movie myself -- in a semi-local theater, even -- so I can definitely vouch for it.
