Tower of Dog.
Well, Nico was supposed to do this update, but my return ended up a bit earlier than I anticipated. Anyway, the title... I dunno; it'd make me want to climb the tower more, at least. See, Allen takes a look at Tower of God, an anime production largely bankrolled by Crunchyroll, and finds it kinda OK. The reason for my unease is the whole "climb the tower, get your wish -- ANY wish -- granted" deal, and you know what they say about deals that sound too good to be true, right? It's not just me getting incredibly bad vibes from this, right? At least Allen liked the show well enough, which is encouraging at least.
Wish I could've said the same about next week, but... yeah. Next week is not caturday, even for the people involved. I guess we'll see you all then, for better or worse. Maybe I could've climbed the Tower of Dog and wished it would be better, but alas....

Stig's Vacation
While Stig enjoys a much-needed vacation, I'm back for a short bit handling the update! I don't have one of my own reviews, but one of Allen's, the sequel to the harem series Tsugumomo. You can check out his thoughts here.
I'll have another one of Allen's reviews next week, and then Stig comes back. Meanwhile, I hope to be back and writing again soon. You all take care.

Yesterday in Tomorrowland.
Whoa, I almost forgot about this update. That's what vacations do to you, especially when it stops raining for at least a morning's worth of time.
Anyway, Allen seems stuck in Sing "Yesterday" For Me, a show that's also a prime example of how not to do romance, or how not to fail at it for that matter. He's... less than impressed too.
That's our lot for now. It's highly likely I'll be gone on vacation next week, so Nico will furnish you with next week's show, and where we ask ourselves one question: why did the household items attack? See you all then.

"I'm The SKET Man, Ski-bi Dibby Dib Yo Da Dub Dub."
Right, so.... Allen's pick of the week, SKET Dance, might not have anything to do with dancing. Still, given some of the humor on display here, he wonders if the "sket" part might be a bit more intentional than one would normally think. That being said, if you can stomach that particular hurdle without... um, hurdling, he still thinks it's a worthwhile show, even despite its surprisingly large episode number.
And that's our weekly dance. Join us next week, because then we shall sing! See you all then.
