Playing Your Cards Right.
It's important to do things right when you start a sequel after 18 years have passed since the last show, but Cardcaptor Sakura: Clear Card still does a decent job at it. Could it have been better? That actually remains to be seen, because it would require a full story, and what we have so far isn't that. At least we got off to a pretty good start?
And that's that. See you all later.

Are You in the Market For Something?
Allen hops back a few years and gives the probably lesser known Kyoto Animation show Tamako Market a look. He finds it, if not amazing, at least a fairly competent low-stakes kind of fun show to while away the hours with.
Next week, we will probably check in on a classic that's gotten a new lease of life recently. So we'll see you all then.

Living the Japanese Dream.
Which -- according to my show of the week, the ever understanding Helpful Fox Senko-san -- is that while it's important to be able to look after oneself, there's nothing wrong with indulging in a little wish-fulfillment from time to time. And so it goes.
And that's that. Next week, we got a different kind of love for you all to delve into. See you all then.
