Grand Ol' Dame Fantasy.

So yeah, I finally got around to doing Granblue Fantasy's second season, and it was fun. My main complaints are valid enough, and it's kind of hard to judge quality overall when you have so many shows that never truly gets finished. There sure has been enough of those; shows I honestly enjoyed, and would have liked seeing to completion. Somehow.

And that's that. Next week, we're aiming to play catch up with a show we shoulda done a loooong time ago, but yeah. See you all then.

Crawling Into My Skin.

So yeah, Allen's giving us a review for a weird one this week. Gleipnir, questionable link to Norse mythology aside, seems to approach the topic of symbolism in the weirdest, meatiest way.

And that's that. See you again next week.

Minmaxing the Human Body....

There seems to be a race to find some kind of angle that will somehow make their isekai show the isekai to end all isekai lives and be reborn in isekai heaven, and... well, Skeleton Knight in Another World isn't quite there, but fits itself neatly into the "enjoyable enough" section.

And that's the pick of this week. See you again next week.

A Kick to the Shin.

Allen's pick of the week belongs to the Ikki Tousen series, one of the pioneers in sexy, somewhat uncomfortable clothes-shredders of fighting anime. Namely, Shin Ikki Tousen, and he finds it alright, and does at least respects its desire to give its target audience just what they want.

Well, that was also a week. Next week is still a bit up in the air, but we'll see what we can do.

On Your Family's Secret Service.

Ah, man, sorry about being a day late with this update. Again, vacation disorientation rears its ugly head and makes me forget which day of the week it is. Or something.

Anyway, Allen gives the first season of Spy x Family a go, and he finds it an endearing and entertaining show. Family matters on a whole other level.

And that's it for this week. Next week, work rears its ugly head again, so hopefully, I'll be more able to keep to the schedule. See you all then.
