Don't you want a balloon?

They all float down here, Georgie. It's all the poor textiles can do to keep them restrained. And weirdly enough; despite the mildly off-putting character designs, Wagamama High Spec isn't as much about boobs as you'd imagine. It seems to have taken some pages out of Wakaba*Girl and made a short comedy stint about a bunch of girls and the very casual everyday things they do, which puts it on a different bus compared to the game it's based on. Weird, right?

Well, at least next week we'll have something really classy for y'all. And I don't mean that in a self-decrepitating ironic "compared to this" fashion. See you all then.

"Oh Lord, won't you buy me a war maiden or two..."

So yeah, fresh off the pompadour and afro squad, I delved deeply into a show that seems to style itself more towards conventional harem-ish designs and then slathered in a grand story of strife and warfare and the littlest nation that got caught up in the middle of it. It's Lord Marksman and Vanadis's time, and it does rather well for itself, particularly given its rather blatant wish fulfillment bent and hilariously optimistic expectations of female puberty.

And that was the show that barely made four. Next week, we have a show that barely made three, so off the slippery slope we go. See you next week.

Rave of the Bohemian.

So yeah, I seem to have found me a fantasy show with a bit of an odd fashion sense. Rage of Bahamut: Genesis builds for itself a fairly typical JRPGish fantasy story, and then turns around and unleashes all the afros, pompadours, kitty ears and fluffy hand puppets over itself. Mr. Torgue would approve.

Next week, we return with something a bit more droll, but still entertaining enough for the most part. See you all then.

AO -- AFTER Okinawa.

Is there such a thing? The show Allen watched seems to think so. He gave Eureka Seven AO, and found the show rather lacking compared to its original, noting it doesn't handle chaos theory well. Or something like that.

Well, next week will prove to be more fun, I'm sure, at least with the show in question. In fact, it might be downright heee-laaa-rious. See you then.
