A Tail of Two Sisters

Synopsis

Serina and Yuimi are sisters, both going to the same "college". Serina is a teacher, while Yuimi is still a student. Both of them have boy problems, and after talking it over, they set out to get what they want.

Review

Surprisingly, they don't swap partners, and even more surprisingly, they don't screw each other.

Instead, this Tail of Two Sisters simply has them meet up with their respective boy toys and face their dysfunctions head on. In Serina's case, her boyfriend, Naoya, has a severe inferiority complex about his student status that ends up manifesting as aggressive kink; Yuimi's boyfriend, Yuta, is a self-professed pervert, and Yuimi mistakes his overeagerness for the exact opposite. Of course, the only valid therapy in a title like this is sex.

For what it's worth, this title is definitely not too bad. The animation is not great, especially during Yuta's conversation with his buddy (from here on lovingly nicknamed "Cross-Eyed Boy").

Still, it's generally average, and the color palette is bright and cheery. The character designs are vaguely reminiscent of a cross between Martian Successor Nadesico and Gundam Seed of all things; in a word, better than the usual hentai fare. Music, of course, is the non-factor that it usually is, because who'd waste a decent soundtrack on hentai anyway?

Which brings us to the sex. Apparently, Yuimi's boyfriend, Yuta, doesn't need a refractory period, as he comes something like four times in a row without going limp. It's really silly, but compared to the other title on this DVD, we'll take it. Serina's boyfriend's actions border on rape before he blurts out what's really on his mind. After that, things settle down, and Serina gets the chance to enjoy herself.

All in all, it's not mindblowing or remotely exceptional, but at least it's not terribly degrading, either. As far as hentai goes, A Tail of Two Sisters is actually quite watchable, though I really don't think it's worth a full DVD's price -- maybe if this were paired with something less idiotic and offensive, I'd be more apt to recommend it.

Too bad there wasn't a sequel starring Cross-Eyed Boy. That'd be hilarious.

Largely blissfully devoid of the problems of its partnered title, this Tail is just amusing enough to chase. — Carlos/Giancarla Ross
